Our facial skin is prone to dryness and wrinkles, especially when the temperature drops. To maintain a beautiful, youthful complexion, it’s important to massage the facial muscles daily to reduce and prevent wrinkles. In this article, Shopdepre will share with you some massage techniques to prevent dry and wrinkled skin.
Place both palms facing inwards and move them upwards across the forehead. Move gently until you feel warmth around the temples.
Use your index finger to press on the “Thiên Đình” acupressure point (located at the hairline), then move down to the “Ấn Đường” acupressure point (located in the center between the eyebrows) in an upward and circular motion. Repeat this 9 times.
Use your index finger to stroke from the beginning to the end of your eyebrows. You can also use other fingers to pluck the eyebrows for about 1 minute. Press the “Toản Trúc” acupressure point (at the beginning of the eyebrow), “Ấn Đường,” and “Đồng Tử Liêu” (at the tail of the eyebrow) for about 30 seconds each. Finally, close your eyes, lightly press your fingers onto the two eye sockets, and the sides of the temples.
Move both hands from the “Thái Dương” acupressure points (beside the eyes) towards the front of your face.
Use your index fingers to press on the “Ty Trúc Không” (located at the outer ends of the eyebrows) and “Toản Trúc” (located at the inner ends of the eyebrows, closer to the eyes) acupressure points.
Lower Eye Massage
Use your index fingers to press and knead the outer corners of both eyes.
Then, move from the outer corner of the eye towards the inner corner and gently press the “Tinh Minh” acupressure point (located at the outer corner of the eye) 9 times.
Use the index finger of your right hand to press and knead the inner corner of the eye.
Then, move horizontally beneath the eye and perform circular motions clockwise 9 times at a point located 2 mm from the “Thái Dương” acupressure point.
Next, use your left hand’s index finger to massage the left eye, repeating the same process as with the right eye.
Some Tips When Performing Eye Massage:
Before starting these massage techniques, relax for a few minutes by taking deep and gentle breaths.
Concentrate fully on the massage points during the massage.
Pause for about 10 seconds to take a deep breath after each massage movement.
After completing the massage, rest for about 10 minutes.
Avoid stretching the skin during the massage; instead, perform gentle strokes.
Perform the massage in the morning and evening before bedtime to enhance blood circulation, promote healthy skin, and slow down the aging process.
