Biography of Do Duy Manh

Do Duy Manh was born on September 29, 1996, in Dong Anh, Hanoi, and started playing football at the age of 8. His childhood idol was the Portuguese football legend Cristiano Ronaldo. At the age of 10, he was selected to join the Hanoi Youth Football Training Center and later played for the youth teams of Hanoi T&T Club in 2013.

Club Career
At the age of 10, Do Duy Manh was selected for the Hanoi Youth Football Training Center. Before the 2015 season, he was promoted to the first team of Hanoi T&T under the guidance of coach Phan Thanh Hung.

Duy Manh made his debut in the V-League on January 5, 2015, coming off the bench and scoring a goal in the 71st minute to secure a 1-1 draw for Hanoi T&T against Dong Tam Long An in the opening round. Since then, he has become a regular starter for the club. At the end of the season, Duy Manh made a total of 22 appearances, scored 2 goals, and was honored as the best young player of V-League 2015.


International Career
Duy Manh first joined the national team setup in 2011 as part of the Vietnam U16 squad. He continued to be called up to the Vietnam U19 team in 2013 and participated in the ASEAN U19 Championship in the same year.

In 2015, midfielder Duy Manh officially earned a spot in the Vietnam U23 squad for the qualification round of the AFC U22 Championship 2016. He was also called up to the senior national team and played in a friendly match against Manchester City.

In early 2016, he was included in the squad for the AFC U23 Championship 2016 held in Qatar. On January 14, 2016, he scored his first goal for the Vietnam U23 team in the tournament, but Vietnam U23 ultimately lost to Jordan U23 with a score of 1-3 in the final.
